Happy December, all! The lights are up, the air is chilly, and hopefully the creative juices are flowing!

How are you all doing? Tell us anything -- word count, approximate progress (half done! quarter done! outlines done! etc.), whether you're optimistic that you can present your work to your giftee by the first of the year. If you want to post snippets of your work so we can live in anticipation - please do!

And if you think you can't make the deadline after all, please let us know too! The last day to drop out is the 18th. We do have one person signed up as a pinch-hitter only this year -- which, thank you! -- so you know, there are choices.

Happy Fall, everyone! RL gets busy, we understand, but we had so much fun (& such great gifts) from the Secret Santa last year that we really wanted to host it again. So here we are! It's happening! ♥

Hi guys. Sorry both of us have been pretty swamped with RL things lately and haven't been able to post more reminders. Perhaps because of that, we didn't receive any entries for our last challenge.

So, here's a poll instead. Would you all be interested in doing some sort of a fest in place of anon prompt challenges? We were thinking we can repeat Secret Santa and then perhaps have something else as well during the year. Maybe close to June 1st to celebrate when Noah first came on the show? But why don't you let us know what you'd like/want to participate in?

Speaking of spring, we want to remind you that submissions for

nuke_anon's spring challenge are currently open. The prompts are Red Carpet and Alternate Universe. With the Oscars coming up in a few weeks, imagine Luke and Noah (or Van and Jake) walking the red carpet looking smart in tuxes. Or perhaps you could re-imagine a universe with one of the nominated films starring our favorite boys. Whatever the premise, we can't wait to see what you come up with.

Are you ready for more Luke/Noah & Van/Jake fics? We certainly are! :) So, without further ado, we present to you your new challenge - the red carpet (with the award season upon us as it is) and alternate universe (they're meant to be in any lifetime, yes?).

There were so many good, unwritten prompts from the Secret Santa that we didn't want them to go to waste. A lot of them were prompts for AUs and you're welcome to use one for them should you choose to write for the alternate universe prompt. See the detailed list below!

You have about two months to write, and we look forward to reading your works. ♥

Hope everyone had a nice Friday/Christmas!

Just a small mod note - it's happened twice now where LJ decided all on its own that your gift comments were spam and put them aside without so much as a heads-up. So, just tweaked the journal settings so it stops doing that. Hopefully no one else has to wait on me to un-spam their comments from now on!

Hey Nukies! We hope everyone's holiday season is off to a good start.

It's hard to believe, but the end of 2015 is fast approaching us. For those of your participating in our Secret Santa gift exchange, your gifts are due three weeks from today on Friday, January 1st.

Remember, you can post your gift on any site you want (LJ, Tumblr, AO3, etc.), but be sure to link to it in the official gift post. Simply find the comment with the name of your recipient and reply with a link to their gift. Also, be sure to track the comment with your name so you will be notified when your gift is posted. To do this, hover over the comment and click the "Track" button (the one that looks like a push pin).

Finally, we know that this time of year can be hectic, so if you realize that you can't finish your gift in time, please contact

If you have already posted your fics that you wrote for nuke_anon challenges to AO3, please feel free to update them to include them in this collection.

To do so, click "Edit" on your work and go to the "Associations" section and type "nuke" in the "Post to Collections/Challenges" text box. Select "Nuke Anon Works" and save your work.

You may have also noticed from the screenshot above that we set up the Secret Santa collection too. When you're ready to post your Secret Santa fic to AO3, that's the collection you can post to for that. :)
