Congrats again to the winners of our last challenge and a big thank you to all the writers, readers and voters for participating!

So, November is NaNoWriMo and December is littered with holidays. Thus, dreamer_98 and I thought we'd do a longer challenge this time, to give everyone a chance to write their novels, do their holiday shoppings, and participate in this challenge. ;)

You have 6 10 weeks to write for this round. And in honor of the end of the year, we're doing a last sentence challenge this time around. (Come submit last lines for our writers in the next post!)

Hi guys, thanks for your patience as we tally through the many votes for challenge #8! We promise to post the results for you tomorrow. So please check back. All comments should be already un-screened though and you can track comments for your fics by clicking on the "track this" link. Let us know if you need assistance!

In the meantime, we'd like to get challenge #9 started. Thanks to your input in this poll, we are hosting our first member-prompted ficlet challenge!

What does this mean? We want you to write, in 3 weeks' time (i.e. rest of February), 100 to 500 words of Luke/Noah or Van/Jake using one or more of the member prompts from the list.

You may choose any combination of prompts, interpreted however you like. However, this time around, we ask that you note in your submission which prompt(s) you're using as the prompts list is considerably longer than our usual 4.

With nukebigbang coming up, we have decided to run one more challenge and then take a break until August, just to give everyone a breather.
